Fashion production Manager

Description

Our client a (Fashion Brand) needs a production manager who would oversee production process, ensuring production is cost effective by drawing up a production schedule and making sure that products are produced on time and are of good quality

Work- type: Fulltime
Location: Oniru Lekki.
Working hours: Mon – Fri | 9am-6pm
Salary: N80,000 – N90,000

Responsibilities

• Managing the design process from conception through to final styling
• Handling clients' consultation sessions
• Illustrate fashion designs using computer-generated images.
• Communicate both technical and creative ideas to the creative director.
• Liaising with customers and vendors.
• Assisting clients in making design decisions by proposing changes or alterations. Inspecting fabric/end design to look for design or production errors.
• Performing extensive market trend research to understand competitive opportunities
• Supervise the sample making, Send in sample for fitting, approval, correction, reproduction and alterations
• Supervise the alterations, Re-fit where necessary and Supervise the line production
• Liaise with the quality control officer and ensure quality control is carried out on each piece and the overall production batch

Qualifications

• University Graduate in any field.
• Education in a Fashion School is highly required
• Practical experience in Fashion Design Illustration/Merchandising with proof is highly required
• Min of 2 years experience in garment production management
• Knowledge and understanding of fabrics and print techniques
• Must have a full understanding of garment construction (start to finish); that is patterning, cutting, draping, sewing and the difference sewing techniques to achieve design.
• Must be meticulous in record keeping, production schedule, time management and then eye for detail and quality products.
• Proficient in fashion design software nd tech savvy

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₦100,000.00 - ₦120,000.00 per month

• Lagos: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
